Maptelier uses a sign-in cookie and browser storage to save Maps, remember settings and handle offers. These technologies can store information even when they are not called cookies.

The sign-in cookie is sent only with matching requests to Maptelier. It is protected against access by page scripts. Other records in the table use local storage or a browser database.
Referral codes associate an eligible purchase with its referrer. Remembering an offer or referral does not subscribe you to the mailing list.
Visit counts store nothing in your browser. The page you arrived on, and the site or campaign that sent you, travel in the link to the next Maptelier page and are removed from the address once read. The Privacy notice says what is counted.
Other services
Hosting and security services may use their own cookies or similar technologies. When you unlock a Map, the Lemon Squeezy checkout opens over the editor and can set its own cookies or storage there. Checkout runs under Lemon Squeezy’s terms. Read the Privacy notice for the services contacted by map, search, route, email and payment features.
Your controls
Your browser lets you inspect, block or clear site storage. Blocking the session cookie prevents sign-in from staying active. Blocking the local database can prevent Maps from being saved in the browser. Clearing local storage can remove remembered offers and referral attribution.
Download a Map project file before clearing browser data if you need to keep it. Clearing browser data does not delete a cloud account or its server records. Those controls are described in the Privacy notice.
